I’m back. Maybe.

I went on hiatus again for more than a month now. I was so busy since I arrived here again in Romblon last June 2009. So much happened these past few months both personal and major events that impacted me. It will take multiple posts just to detail them one by one. Watch out for some upcoming posts these coming days.

Preparing the Christmas Decor and the Accident

I don’t have classes today so most of my time will be spent at home. Aside from going to Security Bank to encash a check, going to Banco De Oro to deposit and paying Load for our Dealer Sim at Waby, I also went to Vangie’s hardware store to purchase a wire worth 50 pesos.

What’s with the wire? We’ll, since I’ll be spending most of my time at home doing some readings about articles I find on the web, might as well do some things… out of the ordinary actually. Christmas is just a month away and we haven’t decorated yet outside, even putting up christmas lights. I had assembled our mini-Christmas tree last month with decor and lights but that’s just it. So I decided to prepare the usual portion of our house where I hang the Christmas lights. Using a hammer and a nail, I put some guide for the lights to be hanged in the next couple of days. I use a ruler so that the distance between each nail are the same. After that, I reached for the wire and created curves with the length a little more than the distance between the two nails. I bought yesterday a garland several meters in length and supposed to be combined with the Christmas lights. The purpose of the wire is to guide the garland with the lights in the perfect curved position/shape… that’s the design actually. Hanging the garland with lights freely may produce uneven and irregular curves. That’s why I use a curved wire to guide the garland.

SLEX Traffic: Nichols going to Magallanes took an hour!

My class starts at 2 pm up to 4 pm, my usual COMPO2 lecture class. As usual, we do have another quiz I think it’s the 4th time my professor issued a quiz within prelim. I rode the bus exactly 1 pm on the BBL Bus terminal and took off around 1:15 pm. That’s not a problem because >span style=”font-weight: bold;”>traffic is normally smooth in the afternoon and will took about 45 minutes from San Pedro to Magallanes. However, this day is an exception.
