Obamicon-ized your photo

Obama ChangeRemember the “iconic” posters of Barrack Obama during his presidential campaign? The one with a blue and red hue with a caption “Change”, “Progress” and “Hope” below? Well this image style was a fad lately and more follow suit to have their individual photos transform into a campaign poster or let me say “Obama-nized” photo. I found this online photo-editing tool that can do just that. Inspired by Shepard Fairey’s iconic poster of Obama during his presidential campaign.

Photo Manipulations

Remember the movie “Face/Off” starring John Travolta and Nicolas Cage? In the movie, they have this technology that can surgically remove and transfer one’s face onto another. In reality, surgeons today doesn’t have that expertise or capability to do that. Although plastic surgery is most common today (especially in beauty enhancement, skin grafting for burned patients, removal of scars and the like), our current age doesn’t have the technology to precisely remove one’s face and transplant it into another.
But what if we can? Yes we can, by using a photo editing software.
Instead of modifying an actual living human face, let’s deal with a photo or image of a human being. Using a photo editing software let’s you do almost the impossible. Let’s say we have a picture of “Wendy” from Pinoy Big Brother 2. If you hated her so much, you can load her picture on one of your favorite photo editing software (like Adobe Photoshop or Corel Photopaint) modify her face by putting ugly scars, blemishes and other whatnots to make her look very ugly. Other options like cropping her face and put it on another body let’s say on a very sexy porn star then make a headline out of it. Haha! We’ve seen it nowadays on entertainment news… images like the Sam Milby-Piolo Pascual scandal where the two was seen holding hands on a photo…later proved to be edited. There are lots of professionals out there that can manipulate that and make bad publicity out of it. I myself knows how to do photo manipulations but never indulge myself into doing that unnecessary things I mentioned before. I do follow my own code of ethics about manipulating photos. Some examples below.
