Statement Tees from Shirts.ph

Statement tees are a fad this year popularized by coke t-shirts and some famous celebrities who actually wear one. It looks good on them as well as catchy. You’ll be starting to look at their t-shirts and it will took you time to finish reading what was written on it. Some statement tees are funny and some quite offensive. That’s what statement t-shirts are.

I saw this episode on MYX Channel early this April that featured statement t-shirts. The company on the limelight was Shirts.ph. They had this collection of t-shirts with different designs with English and Tagalog captions. I like the “humor” the t-shirt has and I decided I wanna have one. Last week, I ordered one and arrived two days after via LBC Express. The original price was P350 but based on their website, they dropped it to P295+150 (for shipping fee LBC Express).

I ordered the “Show Your Bird” flesh colored medium sized T-shirt. However I forgot to check out the size chart on their website. I wear medium sized clothes and it turned out to be a “Large” when it comes to their men’s medium sizes. However, I never bothered and that I could wear it anytime.

I ordered again another t-shirt from Shirts.ph. This time I ordered small and as soon as my ordered arrived, tested it, and …. wee… fits just absolutely great. Like what I wanted the size should be. The print was so nice. The illustrations were uniquely created by the people behind Shirts.ph. I must say that they really put their best creative juices in designing their shirts.

Anyways, if you want to have one, turn to Shirts.ph for more unique designs. I’m sure If you wear one of their tees especially the offensive styles, surely you’ll gonna catch a lot of attention! Hehe.

hey there! jst read your review of the statement tees from shirts.ph and loved it. glad you shared your feedback. i recently came to know of shirts.ph thru my officemate who is my monito in our team exchange gift next week. with budget of P500. he put on his wishlist to buy a pair of tees with the titles Ang Tunay Na Lalaki May Tiyan and Bading Lang Ang NagGgym. very funny statements i thot to myself.
so i went online and checked their website to find out where i could buy these shirts. never heard of them before. one outlet thats close to where i live is the Circle C branch along Congressional Ave, QC and the new one at Eastwood City Libis. last Dec 3, went to Circle C and bought the May Tiyan tee there. but they didnt have the other one. oh no! and suggested i try out the Libis outlet which i did yday, Dec 6th.
off i went to Eastwood, i miss going there. last itme i found myself there was Nov 08 at Something Fishy for a reunion with my call center batchmates! anyways, went to their cute store outlet and was sooo happy to learn they have the Bading Lang ….to be available! yippeee! what was supposed to be a single purchase became double coz i wanted to have my own statement tee as well from shirts.ph which was awarded 2009s Most Promising Retailer of the Year by the Phil Fashion Awards. wow congrats! u deserve it guys!
so i also bought the very catchy Time Space Warp Ngaun Din shirt. made famous by the Shaider japanese TV series of the 90s, remember guys? hehe. i even had a toss up between that or Sa Friendster Lang Ako my Friends option. almost had a headache choosing which one to get and buy..hmp! LOL !
the friendlty female assistants (3 of them) were all nice and very patient with me coz there were some few colors to choose from. the bonus of my visit and effort in also going there was meeting and chatting with one of stores’s co-owners, Carlo Villamayor who was checking the days’s earnings on their POS. medyo na-Starstruck, me! earlier i also saw another co-owner Nico Barbin who walked out of their storage room with a friend who had this big zipper bag the kind one uses when bulk shopping at 168 or Divisoria.
Carlo is cute, i must say! and very nice as well. i shared with him my experience of buying their cool shirts and even gave some suggestions. too bad, forgot to request to pose for a picture with him on my cell cam, argh! most definitely next visit ! Happy Holidays! ( ” ,)
