Migrated to a new server: Still on the same webhost!
JPMonje.net undergone a migration from the old hosting server to the new one. My blog was offline for 19 hours+ to be approximate yesterday as soon as I ordered a new hosting package from my hosting provider. They are quick in setting up my new account. BTW, I’m still with Philhosting! Yeah, you read it right.
3 GB of web-space and an un-metered bandwidth. With that much web-space, I’m planning to set-up my photo gallery instead of hosting my photos on Google’s free Picasa Web Album. Anyway, I’m nearing my 1GB limit so its time to have that much capacity. Wee!
I posted about my problems (1)(2) on my webhost before and I mean what I said in those posts. However, I’ve given them a chance and I’ve stayed with them unto this day. The only problem was their support. It will took them more than a day for your support ticket to be answered. And I hate waiting for answers. Hehe. I guess that is what you get if you don’t pay for support. In fact, submitting a ticket to them is absolutely free compared to other hosting accounts abroad where you are required to pay dollars for support. So, that settles it.
So my blog is on a new server which my webhost claims has a “Zero Downtime Architecture“. Let see then.

Sa Philhosting ka rin pala? We’ll dati kasi ako dun since 2003 pa pero lumipat na ako sa ibang host since january masyado na kasing nakakainis yung palaging down ng PH noon. Good thing now, mukhang bumabawi na sila. PH pa rin registrant ko. Taga Romblon may-ari nyan diba?
Amor’s last blog post..Where to Stay in Baguio?
