Lumbia Pool

Last Sunday, we went to Sitio Lumbia in Barangay Limon Norte, Looc, Romblon to celebrate my uncles birthday that happened a day earlier. We were supposed to visit the famous Lumbia Falls, one of Looc, Romblon’s popular tourist attraction. Since time haven’t permitted us and the tiring journey uphill, we decided to take the pool. Lumbia Pool Resort as what we call it. The pool get its waters from the falls channeled down through man-made constructed irrigation. The pool is replenished every time and excess water goes through the rice fields beside the resort for irrigation.

The water is deep, just leveled with my neck when standing in the shallow portion and up to my wrist when raising my hands on the deepest part.Turquiose is the color of the water. There are no tiles yet on the pool as construction and on-going landscaping of the resort continues.Entrance fee is fixed at P25 per head. There are no cottages yet constructed in the resort so overnight stay is still not possible.
