License to drive

Since 5 months ago, I remembered falling in line on Window 1 inside the LTO office in Odiongan, Romblon to submit my driver’s license application for a non-pro. Processing here and there, taking picture of my face and signing onto a board using a stylus pen. Paying to the payment window and finally giving me my temporary license on a piece of paper with my face printed on it. The office is running low on ink, that’s the reason why my face had some lines in it. After 5 months, I received my first driver’s license card.

LTO called me here in the shop this afternoon, informing me that my license is ready to be claimed. I was overjoyed the fact that I needed a driver’s license for me to use as a valid ID card for me. I need it for my application to open an account on one of the banks here. Also, I’m still waiting for our Yamaha motorcycle which my uncle in Looc, Romblon is using right now. If their motorcycle arrived soon from Laguna, I will in turn use the Yamaha for personal or business use. Since I do have a driver’s license, I can use it to commute to visit my relatives in Looc from time to time. No scheduled jeepney trips for me now if that day comes. Excited? Maybe. :D
