Second day
Last night was the start of my new blog using a new blogging platform called Wordpress. Since then, I was having quite a hard time understanding some of this and that at first. I had to familiarize myself with all the settings of Wordpress one by one in order for me to start at least without hassle. File permissions within wp-content folder on my webhost needs to be changed. I had to manually select each file to be written by wordpress itself using wp-admin. However, as what I’ve read on Wordpress forums, this method puts your wordpress blog on security risk. No need to clarify what security issues my blog could face but what I understand is that I should return them to the default setting. Now that I’ve done some of the tweaks I had to do in order for my blog to look a little bit personalized, I must do some graphics tweaking stuff. I don’t have any idea on what design to put on my header. I’m too busy to work these right now.
Next will be the codes I had to put within my blog like entrecard, feeds, web statistics, users online, mybloglog, twitter, technorati, pinoytopblogs and some future additions. I won’t use my codes on my previous blog. I had to create a new account on some of the blog tools I mentioned before.
All of these will take some time to accomplish. Patience is virtue as they say. I hope I can set this all up by June. Wish me luck.

Jp bakit di mo export ang dati mong mga post from your old blog?
@Ambo: I tried doing that pero since ftp publishing ang ginawa ko sa blogger ko on my previous blog, the wp import thingy returned “0″ posts on my Eagleman blog when trying to import. Should I transfer back to blogger’s default publishing method instead of posting to my hosting account?
