New SMART Flat Rate Calls to other networks
I received a text message today from Smart Free Alert informing me of a new service from one of it’s subscriber based services. The previous Smart flat rate calls that gives you budget-friendly calls within Smart’s network has just been modified. Instead of initialing calls within Smart and Talk n Text subscribers, Smart has included other networks as well.
For those of you who didn’t know, my smart sim card is preloaded with SmartLoad menu. My sim was previously used as a retailer sim that loads SmartLoad denominations.
Here is the text message contents:
Good news! Ang Flatrate mas sulit dahil pwede na sa lahat ng networks. P15 for calls up to 3 minutes sa ibang networks.
Just dial *883+Cel#
example: *88309181234567
Pwede pa rin tumawag sa Smart/TNT subscribers nang upto 3 minutes for P10 or upto 5 minutes for P15.
The trend of their previous promos justifies this new service. Smart is aiming at other telco’s with their market strategies to gain more subscribers and hope to convert those non-Smart subscribers into one. The only question is how they gonna earn with this new service like from the previous promos like “All Text Plus“? Di ba sila malulugi dun? Well, I think this new market strategy will benefit Smart by changing prices at the retail level (lowering retailer’s profit). This makes us retailers and even dealers suffer from little profit earned from loading credits to customers. That effect, most retailers increased their prices on consumer level. Particular examples are the All Text Plus which priced at 20. Since the profit has been reduced, most retailers charged their customers from 21 to 22 pesos just to gain a substantial and fair profit earnings. That’s my reaction and my viewpoint only and based upon our experience with over 3 years of being a retailer.
Buti pa AutoLoad Max, you have a profit already in your hands when you purchase loading credits. It even doesn’t require that your retailer sim has a minimum of 1 peso just to conduct a loading transaction. Unlike SmartLoad retailer, you need to load it with 2 peso pasaload to be able to conduct a transaction within the day. Pasaload expires after 24 hours. After than, you need to pasaload at least 2 pesos again. Kung ganon na lang palagi, nababawasan ang kita mo.

teka sandali… ang pag-pink back ba ay ang pagsasabi dito sa comment page na nagawa ko na yung pagpost ng viral ink? not good in blogging terms masyado eh… hehehe…
Found it kabayan! Im going to add you to my blogroll! Mabuhay!
@yatot: parang ganun din. inform the person about viralink. you should notice it from technorati links. if you found a new link from a blog that links to you through his viralink post, you should update your viralink post to include him/her onto one of the asterisks. medyo nakakalito pero as far as i know, ganun.
@anitokid: thanks
