In the cold land of Antarctica, the Emperor Penguins each express their true love with a special heartsong of their own that expresses their very being. However, the misfit Mumble cannot sing, but instead has an extraordinary talent to tap dance with almost magical energy and expression. Nevertheless, the deeply conformist leadership of the colony fearfully blames the young penguin’s unorthodox ways for the lean fishing that threatens them all. Defiant in the face of unjust rejection, Mumble and his true friends set out to find the true cause of the famine. Through the motley crew’s trials and perils, Mumble learns many things about his frozen world, not the least of which being that his toe tapping talent may be what he needs to save his people.

The story is very inspiring and funny. The movie tells us that one or an individual can make a difference. It is like a musical movie where every moment, there are times that they are singing instead of speaking verbally to convey their reaction or affection to one another. The graphics were superb. Actually, the later part where Mumble, the lead actor, where placed inside a penguin zoo… that scene almost fooled me. I thought the graphics of the sand, the zoo itself and the humans were generated or manipulated by a computer. I wondered how they did that, that realistically rendered every detail. Soon, I realized that it was the real thing, that the creators of the movie actually mixed the CG graphics with the real background and humans. Amazing!
I loved to watch this again tomorrow. However, classes were suspended tomorrow so I won’t be able to go to the mall. sigh!

how did you do the mr frosty animation in your blog? do you know where i can get codes of christmas animations that i can add for my blogger?
i created my header using flash 8 professional. Since Christmas is near, i also put up a Snowman. However, I want some snow falling from above and doing that requires some deep knowledge of Action Script. I was able to integrate my previous header and added this snow without any problem.

try mo ung sa javascript. kung may time ka, try learning flash. punta k lng sa mga wesbite tutorials about flash.
baka pede namang libreng “ready-made” snow javascript code, ung ilalagay ko na lang ung code sa template. hehe.
